The census date for a unit of study is the closing date for requesting FEE-HELP assistance.
The census date is important because it is the deadline for: completing and submitting a Request for FEE-HELP assistance form providing your Tax File Number or Certificate of application for a TFN, if you request a FEE-HELP loan.
You are responsible for meeting your provider's census deadline. You must be aware of your provider's census dates. Tabor College publishes the dates by 1 December of the year prior to the commencement of that unit. You should check the census dates for your units with your provider.
You may be enrolling in units of study which have different census dates. You will need to ensure that you meet the requirements for each unit of study by the census date for that unit.
You should check that all your enrolment and payment details are correct prior to the census date.
The following scenarios outlines the impact of missing the census deadline.
If, by the census date, you fail to complete and submit your Request for FEE-HELP Assistance Form then you will not receive a FEE-HELP loan.
or
If, by the census date, you fail to submit your:
then you will not receive a FEE-HELP loan.
If you have requested a FEE-HELP loan for your units of study then you will incur a debt for any unpaid tuition fees for those units on the census date.
You will not incur a FEE-HELP debt for your units of study if, before the census date, you withdraw
